The redevelopment of the Presbyterian Church’s flagship site saw the delivery of in excess of 150 seniors living units and 60 care beds within a compact infill site that offered overwhelming traditional character. Challenges overcome on this occasion saw the delivery of a vertical facility upwards of 5 storeys in what is typically a leafy traditional building character catchment with adjoining neighbours within close proximity to common boundaries.

Opening in April 2016, this facility saw us deliver a state of the art 2 staged care facility (160 rooms) within a suburban setting offering a hotel like experience.

This project was the first to be approved under Brisbane City Council’s Aged Care Taskforce recommendations in 2009. The approval saw the redevelopment of an existing facility to a 5 staged master planned village entailing 142 rooms and 140 independent living units. Through our guidance, the development achieved a 5 storey form within a 2 storey planning framework.
